Because the government will decide where the money goes, you will be paying for the healthcare the government wants to give you, rather than the healthcare you are paying for through your taxes. Hospitals are being sued all the time, the level of care will suffer, hospitals will waste money, then run crying back to the government for more money. Instead of having money to pay for surgery you will have to wait on a long waiting list for the surgery until it’s deemed critical.

In Australia and around the world paid healthcare is paying for non-theraputic abortion, artificial insemination for same sex couples, sex change operations, and the list of ridiculous things that we are paying tax for in this country go on and on.
