Did a fabulous job cleaning my dogs ears, but has a strong alcohol smell, couldn’t even get near one of my dogs with it. Not for use if there are any gouges or open sores from scratching. Very annoyed that the cap leaks badly.

My English mastiff had ear infections (YEAST) from the age of 3 months. I kept spending so much money on products and vet bills. It’s been 6 months using the ear cleanser . Now she’s 5yrs old and lives a happy itchy free life.

While not the pancea a la Catch 22, it did clean my Cocker’s ear and it does dry, given the base is alcohol. Can’t say that for ANYTHING ELSE. There are no inactive ingredients, this stuff will kill just about all micro organisms. Careful, the gentian violet will stain almost anything, including white fur.

My dog still has the ear infection though, and will probably end up getting his SECOND ear removed, but the vet says his ear canal is spotless, no smell, and it is dry. Too bad whatever he has defies any and all treatment. But I don’t blame this stuff, it does all it is supposed to do. Won’t go back to anything else for dog ears.

Supposed to work on hot spots, licking, etc. Haven’t tried it for that, but given its composition, I have little doubt.

My dog has waxy ears and doesn’t like to have them touched. Yet she doesn’t seem to mind this cleaner. I haven’t used it as often as I would like but so far I think it is a good product.
