What part of this sentence do you NOT understand?

It is up to Congress…and only Congress to decide if TV cameras can be in committee on debates…..it matters not what a President wants.

BTW: The decision was made by a bipartisan caucus, dumbass….not by vote.

Is there anything about our government that you understand???

Believe it or not, most people DON’T get theri news from Cable. Bet you didn’t know that most Cable is simply opinion and commentary..which can be interesting to watch.

There are genuine and real news broadcases that are unbiased and simply report the news…those are valid news sourced.

It’s not just “liberals” who recognize the abject stupidity of the extreme right wingers, teabaggers and others. It’s obvious to anyone with half a brain.

    Stoned cold stupid…most of them

Back to the point, if you read my my posts, you’d see that I said I’m not an Obama apologist. I’m not defending him on the Cspan issue. As for the recently caught terrorist, he’s not being treated as an enemy combatant or POW. He is being treated as a man who boarded a plane with the intention of blowing it up. Is the man in Tacoma who killed four police officers an enemy combatant? Was that terrorism?

lol! “Ad Hominem attacks” must be the secret words on youtube. Did I insult you or say anything derogotory? I referred to you as an anonymous youtuber, hardly an insult or a way to sidestep the issue. You can call me a liberal but I cant call you a right-winger? Hmm…

You can make any number of appeals to authority and ad hominem attacks you desire. It usually makes for faulty logic and a poor debate.

He said they “will be” on CSPAN and “streaming over the net”, not that “I will request they be on CSPAN because of the separation of powers in our Constitution”. He even called out the Clintons for negotiating in private. Now he and the Congress are doing the same thing.
C-SPANs request went to leaders in both parties in both chambers pleading for open access to the final drafting sessions. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said no. Now there’s party unity!

There are fewer that also believe every utterance from the liberals on MSNBC. Granted, far fewer follow them.

You can call it what you want to, but Obama promised CSPAN coverage of the health care debates and didn’t make it happen.

By the way, I notice a tactic of so-called liberals is to question the intelligence and education of anyone who disagrees with them and to support every argument with emotional appeals (and often profanity or outright insults). Why is that?

Who am I going to believe, anonymous youtube commentor, or attorney general? He’s not a POW.

  11. Mikevdog Said,

    January 15, 2010 @ 3:38 pm

He has Geneva convention protection as an enemy combatant, but no miranda rights or habeas corpus. Once the Obama admin granted him protection, all that went out the window. By the way, this is the way it has always been done no matter who was in office, until now. So you can save that “right-winger” crap for someone less informed.

You are correct. This is settled international law.

After his time in the Senate he still doesn’t know the rules on CSPAN coverage? Naive or just dishonest?

    Hello all,
He Is Not My President – Oh Forgot – Even if I did not vote for him he is my president, Ouch very sad reality. What can be done to insure they do not allow this topic to be crammed down my throat, Invisible is unacceptable. I think this is a very important topic and all should have health care but to throw good money into improving a ship that has a massive hole in the bottom is not a wise decision, fix the problem then throw the money where it may be beneficial. Best Regards =)

It ended up being broadcast for 1 hour. He told you about his healthcare plan during the campaign. Nobody listened or believed him. His entire tenure since taking the oath has been one huge charade. He has 3 more years left. Just think of the damage he can do in that time. God help us all. Remember. You get the people you vote for.

I fear the health-care bill was decided, in secret meetings, some time ago. :(

I’m not an Obama apologist. He’s a politician! They all say things to get elected, make promises they can’t keep. “Read my lips, no new taxes”. You really think Obama is the first politician who makes promises he knows he can’t keep? We should ALL know that the president by himself has very little power. There are some decisions he can’t make, like wether hearings are carried on C-span. If you’re offended by politicians who lie, better to not pay attention to politics.

Hello Green – it was beyond not smart. It was stupid and part of his continued stream of untruths and misrepresentations to get applause. Did you hear his speech in Selma, AL, March 2007? He put on this fake black preacher accent? He’s all about Hollywood. He’s not a real leader and he’s so full of himself.

Nobama now wants to stick it to the labor unions by throwing a 40% excise tax on their health plans. The same dummies that voted for this clown.
