nothing in government nor health care or any other business has ever been about what is best for people. it has always been about money, power, and growth.

Just shows how retarded US citizens are. Health care reform….thats funny. There are so many special interests involved in this crap bill , that no true reform will ever take place. If you tried to truly reform the system, it would be very painful, and a lot of special interests groups would scream in agony. On a side note Americans are really good at putting thier heroes (celebutards) into office. Gee, I cannot wait until Cindy Crawford runs for President, after all she was a supermodel.

I think the fight is over and the Demorats win. They are so much slicker pols than the Republirats and they control the major population bases, plus they are better at doling out the goodies. Minorities are slaves to the Demorats and thier numbers are rising, whites numbers are falling. Congrats Demorats, you can firmly put your ideology into full play, no matter how toxic it is for this country. Ted Kennedy was a genius, he knew the 1965 immigration reform was a royal flush for the Demorats!

Citizens in MA need to vote for Scott Brown (R) for Senator. He’s experienced and can do more good for our country than his competitor. (3 weeks from now)
Plus, he will break the super majority that the dems have in the senate–to pass the bill!

Take a guess at why insurance company stocks went up like 40%… they went from giving everyone free health care to this garbage like they do with every other bill start out with most Americans liking it amend it intill the lobbiest love it and Americans dont read it so they will still like it.

Price opposes government intervention in the health care field. He has voted against giving mental health insurance equity with physical health insurance, backed former President Bush’s veto of the SCHIP expansion, and spoke out against medical malpractice lawsuits. The congressman achieved a score of 0 from the American Public Health Association in 2008. He hates any regulation of health care programs.
Rep. Price is an enemy of the people.

LOL…this idiot talks about government intrusion into healthcare…then talks about the plight of medicare patients unable to see doctors (probably not even true by the way)? What a hack, if he had any balls whatsoever he’d introduce a bill to abolish evil socialist terrorism Medicare.

Dr. Price, thank you for standing up for the rights of Americans, who have already stated that they do not want this bill being shoved down their throats. Keep fighting the good fight, sir!

According to the Alberta rags, the Canadian HC system is a disaster..& virtually bankrupt….where illnesses like Cancer & Heart disease requiring immediate surgeries ,, causing patients to wait longer & longer each year, often until their conditions degrade beyond point of return & they die….
Now isn’t that nice….
Warm & fuzzy…all over…..

Canada’s health care system which fully looks after 32 million people costs roughly what the private-sector health insurance companies make in profits in the United States looking after less than half the population for excessive premiums

They should kill this bill and wait until the current health care system becomes so bad that the only thing that can be done is a wholesale change from the scratch.

How about adopting the Canadian system? Costs about 1/3 less and covers everybody. Plus the same drugs are much cheaper. Who could be against such a simple solution?

Look at my posts & you’d think I’m against real reform….you couldn’t be farther from the truth..
I would support real tort reform
getting ” undocumented people” away from non-emergency HC..
& Gov’t local advocacy program that fits patients & care into the HC system most efficiently & with representation..
I, however will not throw my hard earned money at a system that is riddled with cost overruns & exorbidency..
So I will fight the “mandate” forcing people to buy–till it’s fixed……

Rep. Tom Price is a republican, ready to shoot down ANYTHING that might change the status quo, altho it’s a disaster for the average american.
Doesn’t he have the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP)? Yet he denies US, the CITIZENS that same right. Hypocrite! SCUMBAG!
PLEASE Google your Senator & Rep and email them. Tell them we want what our peers have, health ins at reasonable cost, on a NON-PROFIT basis! NO GIVEAWAYS to BIG PHARMA and INSURANCE COMPANIES. Thanks!

The public option would be under the rules as private insur. co.’s. Under the proposed bills it has to negotiate w/ suppliers for prices & must operate entirely on premiums collected – just like the private insur. co.s’. Most people wouldn’t even be eligible to enroll, & the CBO est.’s only 3% of the population would be on it. Private hosp’s & doctors would still be private & the insur. market would still be dominated by private insur. co.’s. How is that a “gov.t takeover of h.c.?
