“should be studied in the non-profit sector”
it is/was, then moneymaking ideas came from those studies
as i said before, the only logical rationale for GM foods is profit. who gets that profit? not me & not our kids who will no doubt have to deal with the problems
“healthy, eco-system friendly”
no doubt we will, just like we have harnessed other forces of nature, unfortunately i fear this will be remembered like the people who first played with radioactivity or made it into ‘health tonics’
I think genetics is a field that should be studied in the non-profit sector. We can use it to mass produce healthy, eco-system friendly foods just as much as unhealthy and environmentally dangerous foods. It’s a double edged sword, but its being researched for all the wrong reasons right now.
“and continues to? smooth out all the rough edges”
you are totally correct
but this is the food supply
im not willing to help along peope who want to ’smooth out all the rough edges’ with the entire world’s food supply
“the real problem is a greedy, profit-driven system”
yup
the only logical rationale for GM food is profit
we already know how to grow food
Well that’s one interpretation of science… But let’s face it, you are typing your comment on a computer. That didn’t come out of thin air. Science is rough sometimes, but it constantly refines itself and continues to smooth out all the rough edges. I think the real problem is a greedy, profit-driven system of thought that jumps on opportunity for profits too readily without exploring the consequences nearly as much as they are responsible to do so. These PEOPLE need to be held accountable.

The idea came from Francis Bacon who tried slamming tissue from cold-loving species of animals into plant seeds in the hopes of producing cold-resistant species.
We didn’t do the Cross Spices Genetic Modifications, e.g. Mixing a Fish with a Tomato, until recent yrs. This guy is Talking about there is something Fish about the Cross Spices Genetic Modifications. He’s Not talking about the Same Species Genetic Modifications.
I praise this guy for having the common sense to understand and appreciate the fact that nature is too complicated for man to comprehend. GMOs are an unfortunate example of how scientists don’t understand nearly as much as they make out, they only learn about synergetic and emergent relationships long after the sad facts (i.e. they weren’t smart enough to anticipate these unpredictable consequences) and that is basically what science is: a rough and crude man made interpretation of nature.
lol we’ve been genetically modifiying food for over thousands of years with no bad results. why do u think we have corn?!? it is speculated that corn came from a plant called Teosinte (a type of grass). ALL THANKS TO OUR GENENTIC MODIFICATION!!!!
Thx for posting the video-great book and sad truth about the complete greed monsatan shows. The utter disregard for life-as Kissinger wants to CONtrol the food supply and the water privatized so the masses will bend to their will-their NANNY WORLDORDER SICKNESS.
TRANSGENIC food can switch some plant DNA with your DNA when you eat it…it is STERILE-it makes plants ,NATIVE plants sterile, Terminator plants-/Round Up ready in their plant DNA and then when you eat it-the bees are being wiped out 2

the fact is that roundup ready crops only have that advantage in the first year. furthermore, because “roundup” is highly poisonous [NOT "environmentally friendly & breaks down quickly" as you claim]
moreover, goldenrice is NOT “a prime example of an utter success” instead described as “a technical failure. It won’t overcome malnutrition. Worse, it is drawing funding and attention away from the real solutions”
Lol…I just googled…IlSeFousDeTaGuele… since I just figured out I could and found this video. Yep. He’s one guy with forty million accounts.ccr5cxcr4 , Rasnixful Humanshot Humanshot1 Humanshot2 Humanshot3 etc etc are a couple of them I have the list of the ones I know about on my channel. Monsanto is a member of Freemasons. The US government is run by this secret organization including your Senate, Congress, Military. No one is taking responsibilities on this matter because they are all in the same organization. Good for one member is a success for the society. “dangers of GMOs, then they need to demonstrate them”
dont agree, if industry wants to introduce GM food crops they must prove they are safe
that hasnt been done
furthermore, the pushers of GM foods have been very unscrupulous & have influenced public policy in a negative manner
“We can use it to mass produce healthy, eco-system friendly foods”
i agree, however we are not yet in command of the procedure & result

Absolute agreement. Accountability must be based on science, however, not the shrillest voice.
If people want to make claims about dangers of GMOs, then they need to demonstrate them scientifically.
